American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her acting career with supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the character of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also had an important role in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She played Kaylee who was a young Moira on the first season on FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when she and her mom moved to California. They lived for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in singing, acting and photography at the age of 13. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother , who was 15.
