In his early years, he traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed as Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. After that, Baker and his father relocated to Denver which was where they resided with his father's aunt. Baker was a target of bullying because he lived in poverty by other children. Baker began to listen to rap as a the sixth grade. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22nd, 1989 in Texas. His compositions are known to fuse modern hip-hop and rock and alternative music. Prior to making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. After delivering lyrics faster than bullet trains and a soaring voice, the Cleveland rapper experienced a swift increase in fame and recognition in the year 2011. The rapper went from releasing self-released cassettes, to signing with labels. His career took off every album charting within the top ten.
